Cream of tomato soup


ripe tomato 3 nos

maida 15 grams

 ghee 15 grams

 salt 1/2 tablespoon

 white pepper powder 1/2 tablespoon

 sugar 1/4 tablespoon

 fresh milk cream 1/2 cup

 dry ginger powder 1/4 teaspoon

 water 300 ml

Method of preparation

Cut tomatoes into large pieces and cook it in a pressure cooker till it becomes tender.

Take out from the pressure cooker and once it is cool down put it into the mixer grinder and make it into a paste.

 Now in a pan heat the ghee and add maida and try it till it is golden brown.

 Add the cooked tomato paste into it the pan.

Add salt, white pepper powder,sugar and dry ginger powder into the soup and stir well.

 Keep the flame in simmer for 2 minutes.

 Tomato soup is ready. We can add fresh cream into it for decoration and serve.

Cashew nut chutney

Let us see the ingredients required to make this dish

 Raw cashew nuts 1 cup

 Lemon juice ¼ tbsp

 Salt 1 tbps

 Ginger half inch piece

 Green chilis 1 – 2 nos

 Water ½ cup

 Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp

Now let us see the method of preparation.

Mix cashews, lemon juice, salt, ginger and chillies with a quarter cup of water. Blend it together in a mixer until it is smooth paste. Add more water as necessary to produce a loose paste. Now transfer it to a bowl. Add fresh coriander and keep it refrigerated for 2 days. The paste will get thick. After that add water as required and serve.
