This is the simplest recipe of a three ingredient cookies. Sugar cookies may be formed by hand or can be rolled and cut into different shapes. The expected shelf life for cookies is two weeks when stored in an airtight container in your kitchen. Sugar cookies are normally soft and tender. I made it and couldn’t wait to share with you all. Even the kids at your home can make a try. Happy eating !


Ingredients

  1. All purpose flour- 2 3/4 cups

  2. Butter – 1 cup

  3. White sugar – 1 1/2 cups

  4. Egg – 1

  5. Baking soda- 1 teaspoon

  6. Baking powder- 1/2 teaspoon

  7. Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon


Method of preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C

  2. Mix all purpose flour, baking powder and baking soda in a small bowl and keep it aside

  3. Take another bowl and cream together the butter and sugar

  4. Beat in Egg and vanilla

  5. Gradually blend the dry ingredients to this bowl

  6. Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls

  7. Place it on the cookie tray with sheets

  8. Bake for 10 minutes, until golden color

  9. Take out from the oven, allow to cool

  10. Store them in an airtight container.
